Joseph R. Trendl is the President of Trendl Associates, Ltd. A native of Chicago, Joseph has been a successful Financial and Technology search professional since 1993. He focuses on delivering a value-added comprehensive search program that supports his clients and candidates from initiation through placement and transition. He brings an in-depth market knowledge and perspective to his clients and candidates alike.

Mr. Trendl’s professions and disciplines include Investment Banking, Corporate and Public Finance, Commercial Banking, Accountancy, Research and Analytics, Portfolio Management, Institutional Sales and Trading, Risk Management, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Wealth Management, Securities and Corporate level officers for Private, Venture-backed and Public corporations. Additionally, he has completed International assignments in both Europe and Asia.

His methodical approach and extensive experience in multiple vertical assignments coupled with his flexible yet efficient search methods create a search platform based on trust, integrity and confidentially for his valued clients.

Prior to opening his own executive search firm in 2002, Mr. Trendl was the former head of the Financial Services practice in the Chicago office of a national retained executive search firm. For four years he was the Sr. Managing Director of a Chicago based executive search firm that focused solely in the Financial Services area. A former member of the Chicago Board Options Exchange, and a Principal of a New York based, national securities firm where he started his financial career as a stockbroker.
